2009 State Meet Schedule Options
For the 2009 state meets, the WIAA has two confirmed sites (Cheney and Mt. Tahoma ). The WIAA will continue to look for a third site, in hopes of holding 3 meets of 2 classifications each, as was done in 2007. However, in the event that only two sites are available, the State Meets would either be 3 classifications each, with the1B, 2B, 1A would be in Cheney, while the 2A, 3A and 4A in Tacoma . A second option is for 4 classifications (1B, 2B, 1A, 2A in Cheney) at one site and 2 (3A and 4A in Tacoma ) at the other. We have provided model schedules for either option below. These aren’t confirmed schedules, but rather possible examples. Please review the schedules, and vote for your preferred option. Bear in mind that no decision has been made regarding 3 meets or 2; the issue will be decided by the WIAA, based available meet sites as well as by the input of our association.
